The APF CPS training exposed me to a framework that aggressively shies away from the traditional way of managing people. Through practical exposure provided during the training, i was enlightened on how current traditional structures are rigid and slow to bring forth change. The APF is created in such a way that it is flexiblity it encourages immediate continuous feedback to address problems as they arise. This approach to Operations particularly makes sense in this day in age where-by we deal with instant gratification. Through the use of the APF instant gratification is obtained through immediately tackling hinderances to progression in order to obtain the goal. My exposure to the framework was mainly in people operations but it’s flexibility allows it to be applied in various divisions in an organization. Unlike the traditional structures, this framework motivates continuous personal and organizational growth.
